While Floating High Above

Slated for rebuild. Stay tuned…

Movie | Phantom of the Opera (2004)

Music | “While Floating High Above”
From Ken Hill’s stage production of “Phantom of the Opera”. Check out the entire soundtrack of this stage production, available from the Ken Hill’s Website (www.kenhillsphantomoftheopera.co.uk).

While floating high above,
I hear, you speak my name.
Your voice, so sweetly calling me,
To come to you again.
I stole into your dreams,
I touched your soul to mine.
I gave you music, and soon,
You must rest here with me,

The tiny spark you give,
Also set my heart aflame…

That all the songs you hear me sing ,
Are echoes of your name.
Our voices blend forever,
Ascending high above.
One day I’ll fly as high with you,
And in Heaven’s arms we’ll be,

We’ll share paradise…

We’ll share paradise…

This is my favorite of all your POTO vids. The first time I watched it, I wept like a baby. You create other worlds with your artistic vision. Perhaps one of these days, you could make a video of one of my songs.

    Many blessings to you!

Have loved this since I first saw it on youtube. Was in despair when it disappeared, am overjoyed to have found it again. Your combination of pictures from the ALW movie and the music from Ken Hill is so well done.

    Lovely lovely lovely.

    Thank you.

Hi Daizy! I’m glad I was able to find this video that you did. Our mutual friend, Madelyn Alt, had shown it to me at her house a long time ago, and I was so blown away because I really loved this song in “The Man Who Cried.” To hear an English version and know what the words actually meant was such a treat, not to mention your beautiful POTO clips to go with it! You make the most amazing videos!!!

I treasured the opportunity to watch this gorgeous video time and time again on YouTube, and introduced it to many appreciative friends. Your creation is so lushly beautiful, so enthralling, that I am caught up in magic whenever I watch it.

Thanks to you, I found Ken Hill’s POTO site and bought the soundtrack of his production. I have always loved Bizet’s opera “Les Pêcheurs de Perles”, but Mr. Hill’s interpretation of the aria “Je crois entendre encore” in his play is very special.

Thank you for your artistry, and for sharing it with us. And thanks for leaving a forwarding address!

    Hi BluEyedDaizy,
Do you have that song as an MP3 file? ‘Cause I REALLY love this song and I would LOVE to have it.

Could you send it to me?
